In a ravaged civilization, where infected and hardened survivors run rampant, Joel, a weary protagonist, is hired to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie out of a military quarantine zone. However, what starts as a small job soon transforms into a brutal cross-country journey.

- Completing each encounter from the main menu in order without dying, taking damage/hit, or restarting encounter/checkpoint.
Subcategories
- (Only for a deathless run): You can NOT heal in any way. Be it from med kit or snacks, even after scripted damage unless forced too. Be careful when picking up items next to a snack because if you accidentally pick one up, the run is invalid. (Strongly recommended to turn OFF auto pick up during a no healing attempt).
- NO crafting at all. But you CAN pick up items that are craftable throughout the game like molotovs, nail bombs, etc... as they become available.
