Travis Grady is a truck driver who suffers from visions that somehow feel familiar to him. One night while driving his truck, he decides to make up for lost time by taking a detour through Silent Hill on his way to Brahms. As he drives on the outskirts of Silent Hill, a mysterious figure suddenly crosses the road, forcing Travis to brake abruptly and get out of his truck to check on the person's condition. Outside his truck, Travis sees a brown-haired girl in a blue uniform. As he follows her, Travis comes across a house engulfed in intense flames. He sees a woman outside the house, but before he can speak to her, Travis hears a scream from inside the property and goes in to investigate. After navigating through the burning house, Travis discovers a severely burned girl atop what appears to be a ceremonial mark and takes her outside under the protection of a seal. Upon leaving the house, he loses consciousness after hearing sirens in the distance.
