Rules
General Rules
- A Hit is defined by a loss of health and/or stagger caused by an enemy.
- Hits from player triggered traps count, environmental damage does not (Static features as lava, water, swamp, spikes, campfires are fine).
- While fall damage does not count, a death from falling will.
- Blocking an enemy counts as a hit, but a perfect parry/deflect does not.
- Minor glitches are fine for glitchless runs (Air roll fall damage cancel, animation cancel, etc.).
- Quitouts are allowed if you aren't aggro by enemies
Specific Rules for Dark Souls II
Slow debuffs that are contracted by the enemies, however not by direct contact (e.g. Trolls barging through the doors before Guardian Dragon bossfight, Mages before Blue Smelter) are not a hit
Getting staggered by an invader as they enter your world when the player stands on top of them is a hit
The status effect “Curse” caused by enemies and traps is a hit. The upbuilding bar is not a hit unless it deals damage (Nashandra curse). If you need to get cursed to finish a specific no hit run and only if you cant avoid getting cursed to finish it is ALLOWED!
Getting poisoned by the vases is a hit
Getting poisoned by the poison pool in Mytha’s arena is not a hit, burning the windmill is optional

Pursuer Quick Kill/17k consider your run as unrestricted (You may fight Pursuer in his arena with the ballistae, or on the platform near the bonfire)
Lethal fall damage cancels (falls you wouldn’t survive with spook, or by using an enemy to negate lethal damage) are considered as unrestricted

- Some weapons are rare drops with a very low chance of obtaining them. For their Weapon XY Only run, the player is allowed to either modify the weapon droprate/cheat the weapon in the inventory, after they defeated the enemy with fist + consumables. F.E: Obtaining Infantry Axe using Cheat Engine.
- For Poison Only runs it is ALLOWED to fight and kill Ruin Sentinels, Skeleton Lords, Mytha, Vendrick, Elana, Sinh, Fume Knight and Sir Alonne (also Aava if you're playing the vanilla ds2 version) in any way incl. all Weapons, Consumables & any School of Magic since they are 100% immune to Poison.
